The Planets and stars

across the void of space
To the Song of the Earth;

crash of the waves, the whistle of the wind,
the crack of the glaciers
To the unique song You have
given each
of your creatures to sing, from the cricket to the whale
To each and every human soul:
Those
we love, those we know
Those whose names have yet to be revealed to us,
those who have gone before us
Help us not only to hear
The words
spoken but to understand, and love
the story, the song, the soul within
the words
For
when our ears, our minds, and
our hearts really listen to your worlds,
your
creatures and to each other, we hear your voice.
