Roaring Voices
|
|
When the roaring voices try to crush you into silence
And the cunning tongues try to lull you into submission
(go to bottom stanza)
And the strong twisting currents try to reverse what you know is right
(center)
Return at once to your authentic place
The place of strength at the core of your being
The place of justice and wisdom
There you will find the truth.

Let us tread lightly but surely
Keeping our own quiet counsel
drowing on our own sound judgement
Listening to the voice within our heart
Listening to ourselves
Trusting ourselves, then moving forward
Sharing our own special light with the world.

Hold Onto Each Other
|
|
Forever and forever and forever, we must not cease to hold each other
For nothing is fixed;
forever and forever and forever; it is not fixed;
The earth is always shifting
The light is always changing
The sea does not cease to grind down rock.
Generations do not cease to be born
The sea rises; the light fails;
Lovers cling to each other and Children cling to us
The moment we cease to hold each other,
The sea engulfs us
And the light goes out.

Your strong arms surround me--Within them I am in a safer place, a place of comfort, a place of coonfidence
The strength within you radiates through me, infuses me too, with strength.
My head rests on your chest
I listen to your heartbeat, absorbing the perfect peace of the moment
You are my love, the love who is really with me, for me, in this time, in this place, in this world.

May it be your will, O our God, that we be allowed to stand in places of astonishing light and not in dark places.
And may our hearts know no pain.
And may our vision not be so clouded that we would not see All the blessings of Life that you have given us.

Source of Healing
Source of Healing
Source of healing, my heart is broken, I cry out to you.
My God, who heals the broken hearted and restores their bodies, Bring healing and consolation to me. Do not hide your
presence from me! My God do not tarry!
Strengthen my heart and give courage to my soul.
Spread over me the shelter of your peace, that I might reside there through this journey of sadness and pain.
That I might some day find the strength to return to life and its blessings.
