Narrow Steep Bridge (Upright flower)

Narrow Steep Bridge
These days I walk on a narrow steep bridge between the known past and the unknown future, with no guide or dear companion
to hold my hand.
The sleekness and lustre of youth are gone;
the appetite for adventure has vanished.
Alone on this bridge now, without the resilience of my youth to fall back on, my steps are both slow, and uncertain. Sometimes
the narrow bridge seems to sway, so I observe myself carefully as I go on; I don't want to slip and fall.
I walk alone, each foot placed as best as I can, each step taking me farther and farther from my past, leaving it on the
other side, behind me.
I cannot see what is at the other end of the bridge: there seems to be a heavy fog where the future lays.My eyes cannot
pierce it; My heart cannot fathom it. But as I come nearer with each step, perhaps, just perhaps, the sun will break through,
burning the fog away, revealing to me, in the distance, a green landscape, one of hope and promise: a sight that I cannot
see now from where I stand.

bittersweet
At the rising of the sun, and in the turning of the seasons, I remember how you welcomed each day with a joyful heart.
At the blossoming of Spring, and in the lushness of Summer, I remember how the yellow sun-smile spread over your face. At
the rustling of the leaves, and in the cool, crisp beauty of fall, I remember how you delighted in the new world, all red
and gold. At the raging of the wind and in the bitterness of winter,I remember how you braced yourself, strong and supple.
At the ending of the dark days and in the greening of the trees, I remember how the light danced in your eyes.
The rich tapestry of life that we shared, we no longer share.
The hard times are here, when you are near, yet so far away--Still, when I am soul-weary, and in need of a strong shoulder
to lean on, I remember how you supported me and encouraged me. When I am feeling low and no longer have faith or hope, I remember
how you loved me with an enduring love. When I gaze deeply into your eyes, I wonder if you, too, Remember.

Isaiah 32:16
Then justice will dwell in the wilderness
and righteousness abide in the fruitful field
The effect of righteousness will be peace
The result will be quietness and trust.
Then people will abide in a peaceful habitation
in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a stong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song alwyas be sung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young.

Red Slippers
Let us tread softly but surely
Keeping our own quiet counsel
Drawing on our own sound judgement
Listening to the voice within our own heart
Listening to ourselves, trusting ourselves, then moving forward.
Becoming the whole person we were meant to be.

Personal Woman of Valor
I am a woman of valor, My arms are new with strength, My hands will plant vineards, With dignity will I tend them, With
laughter and with wisdom will I make them grow, and I will seek goodness all the days of my life.
